I would think something along the theme of, "But enough about me--let's hear about what some of my friends like..." would be intriguing on the first listen and funny thereafter. Or a clip of him on his phone before it starts, "Hey, Ronnie... yeah... I've got Steve and Joe coming by later, you should drop by, too..."
