I played with Jeremy Lamb #BuzzCity in middle school and JV, his dad was our coach. We would have these contests to see who would put in the most work outside of practice. One week I won and the prize was a milkshake that the assistant coach would go out and get during practice for the two that won that week. They asked us what flavors we wanted, first kid said chocolate, not wanting to say the same thing and definitely not wanting to say strawberry in front of my 8th grade peers, I said "vanilla." Coach looked at me in front of the whole team and said "OF COURSE this boy want vanilla." The whole gym started laughing. Coach Rolando Lamb made me look like a fool that day, and taught me a tough lesson, just always ask for a fucking chocolate milkshake.

Played against Malachi Richardson(young benchwarmer on the raptors) and Myles Powell(great shooter playing at seton hall rn could make the league one day) at Trenton catholic HS. Malachi was truly next level he never missed and didn’t break a sweat while blowing us out.
