The Piñana Alternating Finger exercise
🕑 Added 2021-10-06 11:17:36 +0000 UTCHere's another exercise I used to do a looot, and still use now. It is designed to help with hand synchronization and correctly alternating your right hand fingers.
While playing a lot of people tend to try to repeat successive strokes of the same finger, which is a mistake 99% of the time. Carlos Piñana taught me this exercise and I did it religiously through the whole fretboard. When I was 16-18 I started every practice session with it.
