Ren'Py Developer Update - September 2023
🕑 Added 2023-09-30 23:00:49 +0000 UTCSeptember was a month of ups and downs, but very much a month of progress. This month's article talks about what happened in September - a month that had two fix releases, the implementation of a new feature (variable fonts), the start of work on the next-generation Ren’Py updater, and and a few milestones in my life with and without Ren’Py. Finally, it goes over the set of features for the next major release of Ren’Py.

I don't see how. With all of the game available on the player's computer, everything needed to run the game is there. That's true for any game platform, unfortunately.

Thank you for all your hard work. Can you increase code security? Game code is so easily exposed that switching to Unity is being considered.

Ren'py is such a wonderful engine and opened the door to so many aspiring game developers. Thank you again so much =)
