Patriots had won 3 Super Bowls by 07, you were only off by one though. Never really liked manning, he used his name to get away with sexually harassing the female trainer in college. If you’re talking about best storyline for tv though your dad being a famous QB is not as good of a story as the backup becoming the best.

Yeah, we hate our sports stars like that in the UK, too, so it's not just a U.S. thing. We defo build up players, esp. England footsball team players, and then the press and lots of the fans then kick the shit out of them once they're on top. It's great and totally unjustified. Everyone hated David Beckham so much. It's so funny how out of line and irrational it is. It was cracking me up them (and indeed my realisation) of "why the fuck are we doing this, it's so shitty!".
