Looking forward to the California Dreamin parody once Kelsey gets around to watching Chung King Express.

Song was great and Carl was right about the Celtics. The fact that brown and Tatum are boty their leaders seems to be very important for this series.

I really liked Carl's analysis not just because he was saying things I wanted to hear as a Celtics fan. Very thoughtful takes on the matchups for the finals. I want to hear of that stuff. I wish you guys had done more series predictions at the start of each round (though I guess that may be hard for you guys to schedule). Great ep and great song by Kelsey.

Great song Kelsey. You’re a great addition to the pod!

Song was an absolute flex, loved it

Hearts Beat Loud is a terrible movie!
Jordan Newmark
The song ruled! And movie wise, I would’ve suggested ‘I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore’ by Macon Blair, it’s on Netflix.
Jason Sherry
Great job on the song!

Carl is on point during each Carl v Sean debate this episode! It's OK Carl, real ones feel you. Great song and great job singing Kelsey!

Warriors-Celtics worst case scenario... alien vs. predator... gun to my head? pull the trigger!

Shout out to Sean for acknowledging Middleton’s absence. But it would be very hypocritical to get mad at that while the bucks had the same luck last year

And to talk Finals: I had inborn hatred for Celtics growing up in Southern California. As someone who returned just a year ago to NBA super-fandom after 25 years away, the hatred was palpable in round one of the finals last season. This season, the Celtics, as a group of players and coaches, have won me over. Miami Heat…like, they have a lot of interesting variables*, but like I think most people(?) I just cannot get into them, and certainly not enough to root for them. (*It’s cool their 2nd best offensive option is the 6th man, and that Udonis Haslem is still on the squad, and Oladipo is fighting back, and Spoelstra seems legitimately cool, and Jimmy Butler is often very good, etc.) The Warriors? 😴 Celtics in 6.
