I think the issue with Drive to Survive is them making up drama where it isn’t necessary, not drivers looking bad and wanting to have more control. There was so much actual race drama that wasn’t even discussed in the last season, but they do a whole episode about Mazepin’s “comeback” and how he recognized Russian rain clouds. He really just unlapped himself and came in last place that race lol

Piastri won championships the last three years, but in three different series. The F2 champion is not allowed to race in F2 the following season, which is why he’s not racing at all this year, since he’s only eligible for F1 and no one gave him a seat.
