Hi Sean. When I Was Crawford's age ish, my music teacher would teach me songs I was alread interested in on piano. It fortified my love of music and I still play all the time. Ask him if he wants to learn Cheeseburger in Paradise on piano- even if he's just plunking out the melody it'll mean so much more to him than scales or Mary Had a Little Lamb
