Per Carl’s point about no defense I really loved this video recently about the high scoring due simply to the bar to get in the NBA is so high that field goal percentages are higher than they’ve ever been. Players are simply better than they were before at making shots https://youtu.be/qYg_qlyeAAY

Carl’s go-to example of a low scoring 1980s game is Pistons/Nuggets, but they literally played the highest scoring game in NBA history in 1983? Scoring was significantly higher in the 80s than “Carl’s era” from 2003-2016. We need Chef Kevin in here fact checking.

As long as Hayes does his Luka impression, I’m ok with more Luka talk. Hayes did the same/similar voice in some old ads for Earwolf on HH. Vladislav the Earwolf serf. I gave money to Nithya Raman’s campaign when Hayes was drumming up support on Twitter. I asked him to do that voice, which he never got around to. This feels like payment of a debt I’d long since forgiven. Found money!
