Look around your world, pretty baby

how can you not love Neverlusen!

The athleticism of soccer is immense, and those unfamiliar with it might not realize how strength and towering stature often serve as crucial counters to the sport’s more famous rapid threats. (Erling Haaland, anyone? He’s like Zlatan, but blonde and faster.) As a side note, I love that soccer has so little stoppage and so few commercials to interrupt the viewing experience. I think Americans’ tolerance for commercial breaks in their sports is comparably outrageous to their tolerance for privatized healthcare haha (I’m American, btw)

Confidence pool update at the end of the 2nd round: Carl has built a big enough lead that he's won the special drinks! Carl: 462 Hayes: 435 Sean: 425 Carl banked a lot of points from the Mavericks and Knicks and Pacers and while Hayes does have Minnesota ranked highest of everyone, Carl has every other remaining team ranked higher and can't be caught. Sure none of this will matter to him if the Mavericks win, but at least the emotional hedging paid off a little bit!

Klay complaiting about not being top.75 and caring so much about the game 6 thing has to knock him off quite a bit as a player.

Reporting to confirm Hayes was WAY too nice to rinsed, dried, faded, tattered, torn, exhausted Klay Thompson Laker fan edit: veteran team can’t have a young coach like chronicles of Reddick

Gafford’s defensive (non-statistical) impact is undeniable if you watch. the. games. Mavs were shit on defense until two things happened: 1. Refs stopped calling fouls 2. They added Daniel F Gafford

Klay is washed more than a cloth diaper

These guys are so loco , I love it

I think there are a handful of MLB outfielders who could play safety and even more who could be backup level QBs in the nfl TOMORROW
Andrew Doerfler
Treating Draymond as a one-way player is off, at least when the Warriors were contending. He's not a scorer, but his playmaking and vision with Steph off ball was always key to their runs.

Speaking of soccer... Leverkusen anyone?

I think Kevin messed up which episode got released. This was clearly recorded in late June when draft picks and coaching moves were the only things happening.

Dan Gafford is averaging 8.5/5.4/0.9 in the playoffs, with a 30% dropoff from his regular season FG%, playing 20 mpg. Zubac essentially played him off the floor. TFO is not the only venue where I have seen Gafford's importance in the playoffs greatly overstated. Maybe they're just combining Gafford and Lively into one person?

basketball and football also have inflation in their scores. a 28-14 final score sounds a lot more high scoring than 4-2.

In defense of soccer, a sport doesn't need scoring to be exciting. Everyone in the NBA world agrees that is was awesome to watch when the wolves were playing great defense against Denver, no scoring needed.

speaking on behalf of all hockey fans: sorry, we have a huge Napoleon complex when it comes to comparing the NHL to the other 3 men’s leagues. also, fuck the Bruins!

Carl was spot on regarding Joe Mauer. Of course top recruits don’t always pan out, but he was the number one recruit in the country for football.

Sean's dad from Canada??? Learn something new about these guys every week

Carl, come coach the pacers

There's been a weeks worth of playoff games and they didn't even allude to anything that happened in them.

Complementary star on the top dynasty of the last decade and one of the greatest shooters of all-time, with a reputation as a top-level defender before his injury. 5x All-Star, 2x All-NBA Team, an All-Defensive Team, an Olympic Gold Medal, and will likely near 20k points by the end of his career (15.5k right now). Still pushing right now even after a devastating injury. Clearly not the same player anymore but this is an elite resume. (He quite literally was voted as the 77th greatest player of ALL-TIME when the top 75 came out. I don't necessarily agree that he's that high, but regardless, he's gonna be in) *I copied & pasted this from Reddit but the point stands regardless of my plagiarism

Calling Klay a negative team defender is wild

“Fringe HOF’er, top 150, top 5 3 point shooters all-time” Apology accepted

Sean just quoting Rusillo perfectly, love it.

So is Carl’s plan to just not watch the Western Conference Finals this year or
Andrew Carlon
Oh man, Kyle Korver comparable to Klay!! Klay has 10 points more per game in his career than korver.
Michael LeBoeuf
I'm assuming this is the series finale if its Denver/Dallas WCF?

Oh could Lebron pull a JR Smith and go to USC? His extracurriculares make him an ideal applicant
Zack Frazier
No mention of the Nuggets series after you guys all called them dead last week?
