Listener League idea: 10 comedians, 10 listeners Everyone gets paired up, 1 comedian and 1 listener, and they own the team together. Control of the team switches between owners every week. When you are in control, the other owner can't make any changes or advise the other person in any way. Full control over sit/start, waiver wire, etc until the Monday night game starts. Draft would be similar, switch off picks with no communicating. Could be a fun way to get more listeners in on the league and also would be funny to hear y'all bash your co-owners decisions.

My current top five of episodes in no particular order would be Stanger, Sennett, Catherine O’Hara, Gabrus, and Mascot rankings. Honorable mention to Casey Feigh and Jacquis Neal

I went a little hard on you guys, i should’ve clarified that the episode was bad mostly because the videos themselves all sucked. I also on principle don’t like when podcasts require visuals so when they do I expect payoff

im not sure why I made the comment about Pittsburgh and Paris, but im always happy to bring up that comparison. nothing says Parisian romance like vinegar based cole slaw and undercooked french fries on a sandwich.

If you think you’re bloated eating wings and drinking beer, dip potlucks will take you to the next level. Speaking from personal experience on a beach trip.

In St. Louis we had the 3 on 3 Hoop-it-up tournament every year. It looks like Kevin Garnett runs it now https://www.hoopitup.com/ The NHL used to do something in the mid-late 90s called NHL Breakout which was a traveling street hockey tournament including inflatable outdoor rinks and various skill competition games in addition to the actual tourney. What I remember most from that is the beginner brackets (filled with me and my chubby friends) was always dominated by actual ice hockey teams who decided to play down a level or two so they can get the easy win since there was a national finals.

The Gus Macker was the shit! They called the losers bracket the toilet bowl. My team won the toilet bowl as freshmen. We also had a 3 on 3 tournament my junior year at after prom and the winners won tickets to see Mark McGwire on the Cardinals during what would be the record breaking home run chase. Despite only having 3 players when the rest of the teams had 4, despite one of the three not even being on the basketball team, despite me spraining the absolute fuck out of my ankle during the first game and having to deal with it, we won. The team we beat for the tickets had 4 of the 5 starters from our regional championship winning team( my buddy Doug was the 5th and he was on my team). McGwire did not hit a home run the game we saw. Hit one over the right foul post but it was called foul.
