we got a good 8 inches of snow in the massive midwest snow/ice storm over the past weekend, but we were well prepared so we lack for nothing. a fun thing I've never had to do in Germany is leave the water running all day long so the pipes don't freeze! even the heated water bowl I have outside for the cats is trying to ice over around the edges... I went out to sweep snow off the patio this morning and my hair froze on my head in 90 seconds. shit is wild. winter is a different kind of chaos. Jack's boss texted him in the morning to ask what the roads are looking like so opening the shop today is still a maybe. but we still have heat, water and electricity so it's all good. at least chub chubs is comfy if not for jiggling, why tummy so chubby and soft?
answer me this question and in the meantime I will answer yours.
Not really a question, but every now and then you're in my dreams. In my dreams I tend to ask for spiritual advice or I find something new about you. Most often you have auburn hair, and I remember you once owning an Inn pub with lost of crystals and moss. In another dream, you owned a psychic parlor. You're always very wise in my dreams. interesting! does it look good? I've always wondered if auburn hair would suit me. it's a color I'm considering falling back on when I'm old and need to cover the greys. I've just never felt like natural hues suited me all that well, but maybe it just clashes with my personality. other than that it totally could be me! I hope I give good advice!
For someone who isn't a practitioner but is interested, what do you think of this? [link] I've never read this book so I wouldn't know. buy whatever you feel drawn to.
do you have any cat toys you like to use when you play with any of your cats? i used to have a rabbits foot on a string that i got my grandparents cat to jump at and chase and stalk and that was a pretty fun thing to do with their cat named "magic" which was a black and white stray that followed us home from a walk in the woods and meowed at the screen porch door until my grandma started feeding it. I don't remember if it was a boy or a girl, but it was a cool cat. it liked to sit by the heater by the fireplace or on a heated blanket a lot and jump up on the back of couches in their living room and do lots of cool stuff. what do you like to do with your cats, also? sounds like the cat adopted you! my cat likes to play chase so we just keep buying her different attachments for her chaser toy. her favorite right now is this little fly fish 
I mean she will pounce on it like a fox and carry it in her mouth like real prey. the outdoor cats don't really play much except tippy taps who will bop and try to eat the tassels on my robe 
however, tippy taps likes to snuggle more than anything. in the summer we'll have picnics where I spread out a blanket in the grass and she will curl up next to me and purr away. in the winter I come out for a few minutes in my big coat and she will be waiting on her box with the heating pad on and I will pet her and hug her and she will curl up in my arms and take a nap. when I tell you that this cat is my soulmate, I mean it. pretty sure midnight's favorite pastime is just to lounge on the dryer and collect taxes for whatever I'm making for dinner 
Christmas, Saturnalia or Solstice? Do you view Christmas as an entirety secular event or does it have a spiritual resonance for you even if not Christian? What are your favourite Christmas traditions? Is there anything you miss about a European Christmas you can't get or they don't do in the US? solstice for me. everyone argues over whether it's merry christmas this or happy holidays that so I raise you a secret third option, "happy birthday jesus"! christmas doesn't actually fall on the solstice anymore so we celebrate two different events. the solstice is spiritually significant, christmas to us is just a gift exchange and a valid excuse to day drink. my parents weren't big holidays people so traditions never stuck. we don't put up a tree, nor do we hang stockings, nor watch christmas movies, no ugly sweaters and definitely no church. so I'm gonna go with... eggnog. that's my favorite tradition. the only thing about christmas I miss from Germany is tree cake. can't find that shit anywhere here. it's the single best cake in the world and I will fight anyone to the death to defend it.
Do you feel more appreciated and accepted by the people, here in the America's...? (If so, what have you noticed?) I mean, yeah, but the bar was pretty low lmao. have you ever walked into a room and instantly knew you weren't welcome? that's how I felt every day living in Germany. everywhere I went people would somehow treat me like I had no right to exist in the same space as them. even the meanest Americans I've met are so nice compared to Germans. not only am I accepted and appreciated, I am a beloved member of my community, not least because of the delicious treats I bake. though the feedback is divisive. some people love me and think I dress really well, some people are scared of me. I think they can smell my wicked witchery. one kid at target looked at me like "it's the people they warned us about in church!" and her mom turned to look, got the same look on her face and fled the aisle. one 5 year old asked me if I was a princess. one cashier at aldi said to Jack "she look scary as a mofo!" most people are very friendly, except the ones that live in this neighborhood who seem like they want to be left alone. I feel like I've become more open and welcoming of people just cause of how people here have treated me. you really can be the change.
What are the best crystals to have that help you cope with change? I'm moving next year, and I don't feel ready to leave this place behind (been here since I was 9, now late 20s). when going through big changes, it's helpful to try to stay grounded. I will therefore recommend hematite to soak up the stress (be sure to cleanse it weekly), tourmalinated quartz for inner strength and watermelon or rainbow tourmaline to deal with anxiety. if you struggle with dissociation, consider also a piece of smoky quartz to help you stay in your body and cloak your aura. lastly, labradorite will be a beneficial energy in transitioning from one place to the next. I recommend placing a specimen in your new home to help make it feel like home. if you want to go all out, my personal favorite setup for my living space is selenite, smoky quartz, labradorite, amethyst and celestite together. it really makes for the most pure and calm vibes. good luck with your move! you got this. we all have to leave the known behind in order to grow. you will find that it will be for the best.

Have you looked into/considered at all narrating creepy pastas? I think you would be good at it and honestly I find a lot of the narrators that already do it to be a bit dry. With the way you speak, your tone and cadence and accent, I think you'd knock it out of the park. You could maybe make a channel just for it where you wouldn't have to feel guilty about running ads since I don't think most people would mind. Also the standard of editing is a little bit low I think. Usually the videos are just a few static images or looping gifs with some music on a loop in the background and maybe a few story themed sound effects thrown in for flavor. It isn't no effort, but I've seen some of the edits you have done. I am certain that if you have an interest you could do it well. thank you so much! I have looked into creepy pasta, but quickly realized that most of them are not very good. if I find one that I actually like, I am not opposed to narrating it. do you have any favorites? I already do something like that in my monthly streams, but I read real life paranormal encounters and I specially select only the ones that give me chills. I think narrations in general are definitely in my future!

thank you for the valuable lesson! we don't have a space heater, nor room to place one underneath the sink. we do have a good stock of candles which I buy in bulk and pretty much only use for videos. we have central heating in the apartment. we're lucky enough to live in the city so rarely experience major weather problems but I'm still a bit uneasy just coasting on trust like that haha.

To avoid running water all day and night; you can put a small fan heater under the sink (or wherever your pipes may freeze). Furthermore you can link it to a digital thermometer that will turn on the heater whenever the temp dips below a certain point. Also do you have a heating source other than electric...? If the electricity goes out and you don't have another heating source (Natural gas/oil) your house can go into a deep freeze (putting everything inside at risk/calamity). Anyways just trying to help out, two years ago we went without power for two weeks during a deep freeze, our natural gas heater literally saved the integrity of the house and the critters inside it...lol Candles become very precious in these times 😅 Be well

On the topic of creepy pastas, "The Harbinger Experience," credited to Zyon J, is a classic done by many people. The version I listened to was narrated by CreepsMcPasta and I think that package of story plus production was quite good, far above the usual bar imo. That said, when it comes to creepy pasta, I personally am not looking for any sort of top quality entertainment. I usually just put in on the background whenever I am doing other things, like playing terraria or during Halloween when my friends and I are carving pumpkins. It is basically audio junk food for me lol. I rarely, if ever, have creepy pasta as my primary focus which is why I think the ads wouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't be paying enough attention/care enough to bother skipping them even. Another honorable mention is the search and rescue series that seems to have been written by a reddit user 'searchandrescuewoods'. I think the version I listed to for that one was by Corpse Husband. I couldn't tell you what it was about but I do remember enjoying it. As a final thought I would like to suggest that maybe you could consider that you don't necessarily have to enjoy the story yourself. I wouldn't want you to spend time doing something you hate, but maybe try thinking of it as just a narration/video production gig job. If it works out then that is great and if not then no harm done.
