NEW VIDEO: Why Blue Whales Don't Get Cancer - Peto's Paradox
🕑 Added 2020-03-01 13:30:59 +0000 UTCCancer is a creepy and mysterious thing. While we tried to understand it, to get better at killing it, we discovered a biological paradox that remains unsolved to this day: large animals seem to be immune to cancer. Which doesn’t make any sense – the bigger a being, the more cancer it should have. To understand why, we first need to take a look at the nature of cancer itself.

I am always impressed by your content related to cancer. There’s further video content opportunities to teach the public about Cancer 101. Areas of focus could be different types of cancer, how stages are classified, and helping people to understand mainstream and experimental treatment options. The video can also offer emotional therapy to help people struggling with cancer to accept what has happened to them and pursue opportunities for healthy coping.

Very fascinating! The best content on youtube by far!
Have overcome my own process at a stage 2, I found so useful to share this knowledge to better understand how it works and help others. Knowledge is power. Thx
Utter brilliant work. Keep it up!
Nice video, cancer seems a metabolism disease https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEE-oU8_NSU metabolism is just way faster in smaller organisms... hence more cancer
The animation quality seems to have drastically increased, so I’m doubling my monthly pledge. Cheers!

Feeding cancer cells to increase mutation and hopefully kill those cells with new tumors is a really fascinating idea.
