When my friends and I watched this movie, we picked up on a line in Christmas Jones's intro scene where some guy says that she doesn't like men. Naturally, this was all the evidence we needed to declare her a lesbian and too good for Bond. It also made the "Isn't there anything straight in this place?" line uproariously funny, albeit not in any way the filmmakers intended.

It's weird because I watched each season as they came out until the season on an island resort, and I learned about Brett's existence watching a montage, and I remembered him so little I thought the creators of the show created him after the shows run as a bit. Then again, I didn't really look too hard into it, so, for all I know, maybe Brett is just a bit who wasn't actually in the show. I legitimately don't know.

I was so hyped for this episode since I am a big fan of Mildred and her dry humor :D. Also, my theory for 009 is that you can move up in the 00 Agent list (which means Bond stays low average at all times) and whoever is 009 is usually not as hardened and also usually relatively new which is why the 009 Agents die all the time. If you make it 1 movie length as 009 you get promoted to some other 00 position. I will stick with this theory forever.

despite this movie being trash (sorry abi) i remember one scene in particular made a confusingly interesting impression on 11 year old me i was too young to understand why, but both the asphyxiation chair scene in this movie and the ice cube/cigar scene in thunderball left me feeling, weird

I was going to suggest "Fellowship of the Ring" as a bonus episode as there are 3 (THREE!) Bond-Baddies in it: Sean Bean, Christopher Lee, and John-Rhys Davies. But then I realized that as it is the first instalment in the series, the KJB guarantee of only watching the second instalment means it's never going to happen :(

I'm hoping the gang will do "Remington Steele" (The pilot episode, I guess?) as a bonus episode. Seems appropriate since that show is the whole reason Brosnan got offered James Bond in the first place.
