Vladek Sheybal, who played Kronsteen, has a fantastic Wikipedia bio. He escaped Nazi concentration camps twice, starred in a bunch of Ken Russell movies, and "dated both men and women, but formed no long-term relationship." Who is Bond compared with Kronsteen, indeed?

Darko's having sex with a woman in his office, a bomb goes off, she freaks out and tries to leave, and he doesn't let her. When he tells Bond this, Bond understands that he raped her, and is full of admiration at his "pirate king / g*psy personality"
