fully on abi's side here about the sharks. i'd like to propose that real-life animal cruelty should qualify a film for an immediate 7 U score, because if a film shows you an animal that's been abused or killed in the production of that film, it is showing you the results of real actual violence and saying you should find that acceptable as a cost for simply making a piece of entertainment. it's not exactly unprecedented either, The Man From Hong Kong maxed out its C score for the real-life cultural offense of the dudes streaking on Ularu, and that wasn't even on-screen
