So listening to this, you guys talking about how you've seen the same movie way too many times now, I'm SUPER excited for Robbery Season because - it's the exact opposite. Spy Movies are so frequently about a detective trying to uncover some plot or foil a plan but Heist movies are about pulling off a plot! It'll be really cool to see all this stuff from the other side of the job.

This movie reminded me of a book by Stross, the Atrocity Archives. In the second book, there is a bad guy who is immortal because he is bound to an artifact that warps reality to conform to the plot of a story- in this case, Bond/Euro spy, and he keeps subverting the story and using the power of plot beats to survive. I remember this because the book ends on a fucking yacht and it explodes.

Does November still want a long coat, like a trench coat or a great coat? Cause I got one recently, it was Italian Surplus from a Lithuanian seller on Etsy. They have a weird sizing system, had to convert my imperial size to metric and then to their system, I'm north of 6ft, like 6'5", and kinda chubby with a 50" bust/chest, that's the one that goes around the torso under the armpits, and not just width. So I got a size 64, but a size 62 would have fit a bit better, took just under a month to get here, in Wales, tracking didn't start till it got into UK from EU, so like 3 weeks of nail biting, it was around £70. Just, if November wants one, they are available...
