A bit of Hyperfixation Mode: technically “ninja grade” metal would be just normal metal since they historically didn’t have that many supplies. It’s why so many of their tools are just modified farming equipment. Kusarigama is just a rope/chain with a hand scythe on one end and a weight on the other, and a Kunai was just a small hand trowel. So technically you could label cooking knives “Ninja Grade” without changing anything and it would technically be accurate.
