Saw a great musical called Oliver Cromwell is Really Very Sorry and that ALSO had a Welsh actor play (specifically) Protestant God (among other roles, so I didn't realize the Welsh accent for God was his normal voice, I thought it was a choice lmao). Just funny that it's happened more than once

gotta say between this and the silence, november's info dumps have done more to make me think there can be something beautiful to christianity than the past thirty years of my life.

I was a bit worried about this episode because I watched this film for a class once and instantly formed an attachment, but I really. Enjoyed isn't the right word, but appreciated, this episode. Especially the conversation about her being radicalized and it's not that she's Inherently A Bad Person but someone who's been traumatized and has a reaction to it. Religious mortification and the sanctification of suffering is a topic I'm really interested in - if anyone else is, this blog (https://www.pangyrus.com/place/living-with-pain-the-desert-fathers-and-mothers-the-hindu-festival-of-thaipusam-and-the-new-york-city-marathon/) talks about the topic well, in my opinion. (Eta: unless you, like the three commentors, have strong opinions on the socioeconomic status of Tamil people in Singapore, a subject about which I am completely ignorant). But it's a complex topic!

Could we get (or is there already) a heads up of what the next bonus episode is going to be?

So you've broken into religious horror, what are the odds you'll watch Martyrs (2008)?
