If you do go with the every few months for larger updates maybe you can do little mini "showcases" in the off months like showing off a card's art and what it does. You've got a couple dozen cards at this point and that would give you content for a lot of "off" months while you work on the game.

Big releases every few months, the lst thing we want is dev burnout.

I've gotten into this game around the last update that was posted, and I like what I see. Developing a game on your own is time-consuming, and you have a whole life to live away from it as well. The 2-4 month update schedule is realistic, even as hungry as I am for more to come. One of my other favorite in-progress games is World of Horror, and the guy's update schedule comes in fits and starts, but is always worth the wait.

I've been very happy with the bigger releases

Ditto. If it’s manageable, I think 2 months would be a nice, balanced frequency. That said, make sure you do a schedule that doesn’t burn you out. You are making something very special and beautiful entirely by yourself! In other words, I prefer to favor the long term success of your project over my short term amusement. ❤️

I'm going to lean into the two-month schedule, I think the time it takes to wrap things up for a monthly release would take too much energy but getting feedback about things as you make them can be good too.

I think it might also be nice to see something like some of the different cards you're working on for the future updates.

I think bigger updates would be far better. Personally, I'd prefer more of it to explore and sink my teeth into.

I would love If you give more behind the scenes stuff or insight into you characters. Like even height, age, their background maybe even some sneak peek into future weight updates
