I just wanted to come on here and address the fact that my patreon here has been pretty dormant… And I’m so sorry about that!
I am consistently blown away by the love and support that you guys have for my Webtoon. It honestly means EVERYTHING to me. Thank you so, so so much for being here.
And…I am so sorry for not posting here for you all.
Honestly…I’ve been so intimidated to do so. I got into this spiral where I knew I needed to say something, post something, provide something in exchange for your support, but the longer it went on, the more I felt like whatever I did wouldn’t be enough, and I could only let you down, make you feel ripped off. I’d have to provide something really good to reward you for your patience, and every week that went by, every notification of a new patron I got, it just made it feel even more insurmountable.
What is more, I find it so intimidating that other Webtoon creators are able to do all of their work for their comic AND make awesome social media posts and be active on other platforms. I feel like I am ALWAYS only ever meeting my quotas and keeping up with the production schedule! I’m amazed that others can do it all, and find myself wondering HOW DO THEY DO IT??? Why can’t I???
As you can see, it was a difficult spiral to get out of….and I think a bit of me is still in it…. BUT I FINALLY DECIDED BRAVERY AND HERE I AM.
So…I hope that from here on out I can be more worthy of your patronage!!
BLAGH! I don’t mean to unload on you all: you’re here for goodies, not to be my therapists! I just felt that I owed you all an explanation.
So here is my plan to get started here again…
I will mostly be active on the $5 tier, as I am unsure if I can provide enough content for the $10 to be “worth it.” I am going to try something new: It is always ALWAYS good for artists to warm up before diving into work. I sometimes get burned out drawing panels, and wish I could draw my characters in more casual, random scenarios. Just for fun. (I haven’t before because my mind is like “if I’m gonna draw them I might as well draw them in the actual comic”) So I am going to make a second post in a second asking for prompts. Single words, full scenes, emotions, etc! I will compile them into a list and work on sketches and line drawings of them when I warm up for the day! I think that will be manageable for me, and fun for you all to see my interpretation of your prompts!
Also, If there are panels from the comic that you’d like to see as wallpapers/phone lock screens, I will see what I can do about making that happen! ;)
It has occurred to me that I have a little community right here at my fingertips, and you all are a huge advantage that I am just neglecting! I’m so so terribly introverted, So I am usually TERRIBLE at responding to messages and things, I just…I feel so honored and nervous that you all have things you want to say to me, feedback or comments you’d like to give, and I’m over here in my little cave like “.....ME???? You want to talk to ME???” And I’m really trying to be better about that! Especially because this community has been NOTHING but kind and supportive. I’m always so overjoyed to read the comments on my chapters and see NO negativity or hate or nastiness between anyone. Like…what wonderful, lovely people you all are.
So thank you. Thank you for being here, thank you for your faith in me. Even though I’m shy and quiet, I notice you and you really, truly, have made a difference to me.

I love how you’re taking it slow. I love how these characters are showing their true selves. Obviously, we want to hear their back stories, but in the end, does it really matter? These two beautiful souls have found each other. Obviously, I want to know what happened to Ivy‘s mother , how she received the scar, what’s this all about Bram the dwarf king ….… But revealing who they truly are, and imagining what kind of future they could make together with her magic and his skill and their integrity … that's what matters I look forward to Saturday every week so I can read the next episode . take your time, dear creator . You've got us in the palm of your hand.

I really feel this!! I just joined your patron so I don't know your production situation, but if you're doing this all by yourself, then you have no reason to feel bad. Don't overwhelm yourself because that's what leads to burnout. And I'm speaking from experience. Remember to breathe and pace yourself and know that we are here because we want to be. I personally would be happy with teaser sketches or even cute couply art of Ivy and Brahm because I am absolutely loving their story and art so far!!! 💗 anywho, share with us whatever you're able and willing to share and I will personally continue to follow your content (even if I can't stick with patreon).
