My older sister use to watch this all the time I remember being a little girl and her playing this movie. When he was teaching her Spanish I got flashbacks to when I was trying to learn lmao, I could never roll my Rs properly.

Don't apologize for your emotions! Selena was indeed basically an angel on earth and deserved all the love she got. You should check out her music - it's practically timeless in my opinion. My aunt introduced me to her full catalog after the movie came out. I was 7 when the movie was released, and by now I know it by heart but it's such a good biopic. It was nice to see you get so invested in her life and family. <3
