I’d agree that there is too much “potty humor” for my personal liking, but keep in mind that this movie wasn’t just about kids but also marketed as a film for young kids to be able to watch. I think that’s where a lot of the gross-out stuff comes from. Regardless, I’m glad you got to have some fun with this movie and that you also felt the emotional moments like I thought you might.
