Next Large Project is?!!?!!
🕑 Added 2023-08-18 13:56:43 +0000 UTCHELLO EVERYONE!!! sorry this post is a bit late this week :D I had a family emergency that delayed my normal schedule :D Thankfully it’s now sorted and I can reveal the next large-scale model!!!! :D
the next large-scale model is!!! the Plasma Cutter from Deadspace!!!!! :D And man am I looking forward to this one!!! :D With how well the portal gun when and what learned on that project! I wanted to work on another very mechanical-heavy project! and boy did you guys pick an epic one!!!! :D
oooo boy is this one gonna awesome! so for features! Im looking to add electronics!!! rotating front part of the model with expanding front plates! led lighting in the barrels!! and some sort of ammo counter? I have an idea ill try to implement :D
one thing that might be a bit more limited on this model is the internals :( even though the model is quite large, looking at how much will be needed for the moving parts as well as how deceptively small the main frame is I might now be able to go all out on the internals as I would normally do :D
UP NEXT! starting the model :D man is this one gonna be epic!!!!

I could add a double trigger! but I was planning to use the flip switch just above the handle for mode switching as it would give more buttons for people to use :D but now that you mention it, the design looks like it is a strange double trigger set up :D is there lore or anything in the game that shows it as a double trigger? I haven’t played the game so my knowledge is a bit limited :D

thank you for that hahaha :D Im glad you like the model’s man :D adding a sound module is a bit tricky :( adding the hardware is not an issue but the sounds are :( I can’t use any sounds that are ripped from the game or any other media, as that would be using an asset from the game which is a big no-no. ill keep looking for a solution :D and hopefully, find one :D

Does it have a double trigger? Is it like a half pull to fire and a full to switch modes?

Making dreams come true one model at a time. My poor printer though, only just finishing with the Portal Gun. How about a sound module like an MP3-TF-16P to add some more complexity.
