Lumina!!
🕑 Added 2023-10-02 16:11:30 +0000 UTCHELLO EVERYONE!!!!!! today I have something really special!! It's LUMINA from Destiny 2 XD And man I think this is one of the best handcannons I have ever made XD BUT FIRST! A RANT! XD This thing was tough!!! It was one of the toughest models I have worked on! And it's all thanks to those lovely rose petals that wrap around the entire model XD Due to their very organic shape, it made getting them wrap around the model a real challenge! It pushed me to my limits!! THEN CAME THE TEST PRINT AND OH BOY!! this will test the limits of your build plate adhesion hahaha, thanks to those lovely petals again, I had to slice the model slice in such a way that you have super long and thin parts that just loved to get to 80% and detach from the build plate hahaha, I did eventually get to a version of the model where it was printable woohoo!!!
And threw all the pain, it was worth it!!! This thing is gorgeous and think of the most beautiful models I have done so far :D

Removable bullets!!
And the big one!! The most extreme and compact LED lighting I have ever designed XD The balls on the side of the mag light up giving the model a really awesome glow effect XD The barrel also has lighting on the side!!! The only problem is the battery could not be stored in the mag so the wiring is extreme!!! The wiring has to travel down the arm that connects the mag to the frame, then up into the frame just above the barrel :D it worked out to be freaking awesome!!! wooohooo :D
this model was a blast to make! and although it pushed me to my limits, it was worth it!!!! :D
just wanted to say thank you so much, without you guys, this model wouldn't be possible! YOU ARE AWESOME! :D

It’s definitely a really hard print to work with, I love a challenge so I decided to try this print 3 times before asking for help lol

thanks for letting me know :D im really sorry about this model being so tricky :( its actually one of my most extreme projects to build as well as well as print :D i had massive issues during the test print getting those petals printed hahaha :D Youtube instructions are a fantastic idea and ill look into making them for models this year :D
