Razz: the culture of burning man is pretty troll. It happens because life is rough out there and you’re constantly on the edge. By the time you all came in, most people there have been hard partying for three days straight, and before that hard working for days, weeks, and months setting up camp, bringing and building all the fun things you experienced which they freely let you experience. Radical inclusion is big yes but there’s a reason why radical self reliance is listed first. By Wednesday most people are raw as fuck and that’s the beauty of it - you can’t help but be your authentic self because you’ve been pushed to your limits. So typically when people hear it’s your first time and you came in as a weekend warrior there’s going to be a lot of snark and judgment that goes with that, but if you ask for help and are genuinely in distress people will help you. It’s just that if that’s not the case they’ll want you to learn the hard way. Every burner has stories about getting too wasted and lost, bikes breaking at sunrise at the trash fence, their tent flying away in a dust storm. That’s just the way it is and a sort of rite of passage for burners. As tough as this year was it was the easiest in at least 15, weather wise. Playa on ez mode. Anyway, hope you enjoyed your stay and your burn was properly fucked.

Great video, hope you enjoyed Reno, NV that is where I live. Crazy how many years Burning Man has been going on, even back when I was in college in the 90's it got about 5,000 people going. Now it is so big.
