Voice Class with Z: Intro and Overview of Elements
🕑 Added 2024-04-28 18:16:31 +0000 UTCThis is a lookahead for our regular voice classes which will be starting May 5th! This video will give a brief overview of each core theme, element, and layer of process which will show up throughout each point of our discussion.
Each element here is more a presence;
Foundation (ground); awareness of
Action (sound); immediately take action
Control (grab); contact with causality
Quality (lab); territorialize differences in sound
Expression (vibe); bring voice into being
Generativity (play); novelty, exploration, and permutation
Practopoiesis (embody); ability persistently becoming
Integration (fuse); skill emerges as process occurs
These tend to exist across different temporal, causal, and attentional layers but each constitute part of the complex which is skill development, enactivity, and learning. Consider this video a brief safari overview of these different landscapes. :)

I'm so excited for this series!!! I really like the way you outlined the overlapping layers of the process. Your approach seems really insightful and surprisingly intuitive! And the way you explained it was really effective, I feel like I'm better oriented in understanding the long game of voice learning. I'm really looking forward to all of these lectures!
