Indeed, as long as the value you plug in does not make the denominator = 0, this is an effective way to check.

Just a small tip for those who are going through this now: Plug some value of x (e.g x= 17) into the original function, and calculate it using your calculator. Then plug the same value into the partial fraction that you found. If it matches, you're very likely to be correct (although there may be some exceptions).

bro the last question u did right we can take any other variables right instead of A i can say the C+ the other 2 fractions with A and B
Dread Gamer
17 and Ik you checked it
Jude Morris-Jones
bro's just cooked lol
Intuitive
What one is wrong? I just checked 15 & 16 to see and they're both correct.
Intuitive
My answers aren't wrong and my formula isn't wrong either. Could you elaborate?
Dread Gamer
check your answers again mate
Dread Gamer
bro all your answers for when the square is inside are wrong , your formula is also wrong

I found it in the GCE guide website of past papers. A=3, B=(-1), C=3

Again it took me a while to get through the video but I did it! Its really really helpful that you go through so many questions in the video. I'm gonna go tackle the worksheet now.

For our steps to make mathematical sense, we ourselves need to know whether the shit we're doing is valid or not lmao. I could be doing some random shit and it might as well just look valid to me lol
Intuitive
But if you send me a snap shot of the question on Instagram I'll do it for you :)
Intuitive
I will run through 2021 past papers soon. Do not fear

Nasweer
Nah its all good, just wanted to point it out
Intuitive
Oh yeah my bad I can go back and do it if you want that question done. But it will be answered the same as all the others.
Nasweer
you forgot to include answers to question no 17 in the worksheet
Aleeza Jehangir
Like he told us to do long division of the original fraction first. But your way's much simpler so I'll stick with that.
Intuitive
Not sure what you’re asking. But if you wanna divide something you can as long as it’s mathematically valid. Don’t be so focused on a method, just makes sure all your steps make mathematical sense. If they do you will get the right answer no matter what.
Intuitive
I just put it in my calculator? Makes sure it’s set to degrees though
Aleeza Jehangir
In the 4th question, our teacher told us we always have to divide the fraction first and then split it. So is it not necessary to divide?
Midas
Thanks for the video. Quick question, how do you determine the degrees?
Mohammed Mutaz
Easy 15% of the paper . It comes 80% of the time
Intuitive
Yes it’s coming do not fear

Hi, could you please upload a video on vectors and complex numbers
