Hey, if the question says: "determine x correct to 2 decimal places" then you have to iterate until the number doesnt change anymore for rounding to 2 decimal places. If you look at the ms of these questions, they give you a table with all values that should have been noted down, so just write down each iteration in a list. But you dont have to show that you substitute back in if you just write it in generic form on top with x_(n+1) = ... * x_n Good luck tmr, same here.

Hi, my exam is tomorrow, and I was wondering how many iterations would be considered "sufficient" and whether we have to show how we use the iterative formula (as in, do we have to show how we substitute the previous answer into the iterative formula)?

try accessing it with a vpn! i had the same issue and now it's resolved by using vpn. hope it works for you too

It still is probably...because it is the ON2020 QP32 Q8 question...which is still part of our syllabus. Its assumed knowledge from P1...so would be better to know it just in case it comes in our exam.

heyy so idk if this makes any sense but I've been struggling with question 6 (b) I plugged in a = 3 as x = 3 into the interative formula as shown in the question, but my awnsers are coming out as 3.3067... etc. instead of 4.1244... etc. as shown in you're solutions. Dunno if I'm messing something up with x and a but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
