Exam Hack | CIE A2 Physics | Structured | Quantum Physics Question
🕑 Added 2023-09-14 22:40:37 +0000 UTCI misspoke at "08:16" (although corrected myself a few minutes after). I was just explaining a situation of increasing intensity and allowing for a possible varying frequency of light, although that is possible this will never be the case for you. (You will always be dealing with a constant frequency of incident light).
To be clear, for a CONSTANT frequency of incident light an increase in intensity (Intensity = Power/Area = (Energy/time)/Area) simply means an increase in the amount of photons hitting the surface per unit time, as this would mean an increase in the rate of flow of energy over a unit area of the surface (NOT an increase in the energy of individual photons, as an increase in the energy of the photons would mean an increase in the frequency of the incident light as "E = h*f").
Hence, an increase in intensity (for a constant frequency of light) means an increase in ejected electrons (as we will have more photons per unit time hitting the surface). Time "11:59" is the correct explanation for you and the exam questions you will encounter.
Sorry for any confusion but please ask in the comments if this is unclear.

I know the philosophy for this one is gonna be heavy

hello, in question 3 (w18_42) c- ii I think the answer has to be 7.2 (you subtracted -13.5 instead of -13.6)

Thank you I'll change that now (Its helpful when people point these out so thanks)

Hi, just wanted to point out that in question 9 part 2 the gradient of the graph is equal to hc and not simply h, and your final answer should be divided by 3.0x10^8 in order to get h

It’s shamanic style music. I’ve been heavily interested in shamanism for a while it’s fascinating to me. I especially enjoy shamanic drumming, it aids me to enter into a flow state and complete large amounts of work.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED that philosophical part, it really did open the mind. Thank you so much for the effort you put in these videos. (Btw the background music is also cool, what is it called ? It may help while revising)

I feel like any of us trying to explain modern technology (especially in modern English) without modern tools would result in us being executed… the absolute modern loonies we appear to be.

Or yes that would be very interesting, but I’d most likely be banished from society due to how absurd I’d seem to others (you pick the response you prefer)

Time starts and ends within your mind. The past and that place 300 years ago you’re imagining me to be exists only now within your mind. As Plato said “Time is the moving image of eternity”.

Imagine if you could go back in time 300 years ago with your knowledge today

Can I download this video somehow?
