Pipboy Model and Drawings are complete
🕑 Added 2018-07-02 09:50:27 +0000 UTC After a very long weekend I have now finished all the drawings that I think will help the build of this model along with the BOM and parts I bought off eBay. I have also added a dxf of the two main leather vambrace patterns as a few people who have laser cutters can just scale and use this to cut it out.I have uploaded the STL's to dropbox so you can now download and print your own pipboy. Here is the link to the models folder - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pgvfqquahnzfpwj/AACKjIGfoZoJNIHn3R3oqgWda?dl=0
For this project, the only thing I haven't 100% fleshed out is how, and how well, the vambrace will perform when everything is assembled. This will be a problem I solve when I have everything I need to make it and depending on how many iterations it takes.
The only thing I haven't start as this is just something I do towards actually finishing the build is create the decals for it. When I have finished these I will also upload them as part of the file pack.
As for the electronics for this pipboy, I will now begin trying to source anything I think that can bring more realism to it. I don't know how long this will take but I will just keep progressing with it. The only thing I cannot confirm that I will look into is something like a Raspberry PI 3/zero and the like. This is something I have no knowledge on dealing with so for the moment I will table it for another time.
Anyfeed on the files or documentation is greatly appreciated as I am always looking to improve my way of working and quality of work.

I've only previous just used sticker paper as thats all I have access to. I used this for my Wolfenstein Laserkraftwerk is worked well. My plan is just to make all the decals on Inkscape and then just print them out. I will upload the pdf of the decal when I've created them.

I have checked and the files are there, all the STL's should are in the top level of the zip folder and the drawings are in a folder called 'Documents'.

What do you use for the decals? I'm trying to find an non-chlorine vinyl like strip I can laser cut but I'll probably be stuck with water sliders.
