🕑 Added 2021-04-15 12:25:40 +0000 UTCSo below is my current wish list of props I have on my whiteboard that I add to when I want get inspiration for another project. They are in no particular order and range from quite simple to complex projects so take a look and see what you think and hopefully there is something on there for everyone.
The only one that wont stand out to many is the 'Scorn Pistol'. This is a game coming out soon-ish that is basically a horror/shooter with a heavy H.R Giger theme. Now I hate horror games but have loved the Aliens films and Giger's art style so I really want to do this at some point but its one of the complex projects but we'll see how it goes.

I can respect that. I started to learn the 3D modelling because of my research turning up something about a prop that the original modeller of the replica either missed or left off. It can be a curse!

Haha I got no issue with that, one letter would only take an extra minute to do.

I do like to do everything myself as when you have to model anything up you have to do research on the item and get intimately involved with knowing the item to reproduce it. I like the process of knowing more baout the film how other prop builders have come to make something new from something existing.

It's almost odd that I already have half of these. Mind you, beyond the "did it myself" reasons, why do things like the Mando pieces? There are way too many 3D models out there to count and most are very accurate, so what would be the desire to do it?

Ye I agree, the problem is always the budget and the director they are given always skew it away from the way the game is and it always makes a film of a game pretty bad.
