🕑 Added 2025-07-28 15:38:12 +0000 UTCEarlier this month, Sky released the documentary film HILL, which follows 1996 Formula 1 World Champion Damon Hill as he defies the odds and overcomes tragedy to step out of his father Grahamโs shadow and become a racing legend in his own right.
Naturally, we couldn't wait to give it a watch - and now Glenn Freeman, Edd Straw and Ben Anderson are here to share their thoughts.
According to the producers, the film uses frank interviews and never-before-seen footage to explore the emotional and physical highs and lows of life at the pinnacle of motorsport, while showing Damon as not just a racing driver, but also a husband, a father, and a man fighting to fulfil his destiny.

Excellent review, just watched it for a second time. I like the short time of Damonโs career, very reminiscent of the supersonic oasis documentary focusing on a glorious period of time.
