What do you think is the latest point at which Schumacher could have returned and still fought for the title?

I thought at the time Salo would have been daft to defy team orders and I still do. A win would have been great in the short term. Ferrari would have blacklisted him. He did get a great Sportscar run in Ferrari's later in his career as mentioned.

Great episode, gents! My main takeaway is the desire to see the return of circuits with genuine character and soul, such as the old Hockenheim. I know I was only nine months old when this layout was last used in 2001, so I never had the chance to watch a race from the old [proper] Hockenheim live. But watching these races back now makes me pine for the good old days I never lived through.
