มิน่าล่ะ means "no wonder" Like ahhh no wonder he can speak Thai. He was born in Thailand! I think for this word, it's good to just memorise it as an expression.

I was having such a hard time understanding Thai. I thought these were completely different words with different meanings. มิน่าล่ะ
