I feel like Ansel’s Theory was intentionally nothing special. Like, to him it’s this revolutionary idea that supposedly no one ever thought of before, whereas in reality it’s painfully mediocre, which to me felt like another example of his self-proclaimed superiority and it showed just how detached from reality he is.

So Lila was one of the girls on the foster home and he killed Lila but she had this ring she always wore and he took that as a reminder for him killing her, and when he married Jenny he gave her that ring so that ring kinda showed that he killed Lila bc he gave it to her and who else would have it other than her murderer. I think? Idk correct me if I’m wrong
