I haven't read the book, but as I listened to the conversation, I definitely will. As probably the oldest person in this Priory, you are describing my father in so many ways; born in 1913, father lost his business in 1929 crash, and then died a year later. My father had worked hard, always made a good living, but definitely had a hard time with feelings.
