This touched me though. I think my beautiful granddaughters notice that I don't participate in family meal prayers of thanks. Grace, I guess we all call it. But I worry that my lack of prayer will affect them badly. I'll have to listen to this ballad more. Maybe I'll learn something. As always Janet, thank you so much for all you do.

My dad never prayed. Not that I saw, at least. My mom was a good Irish Catholic and my dad a Swedish Lutheran but never paid much attention to it. And I lost track of prayer a long time ago unless to say a few words when a friend needs some help. I don't know if my words are heard, but I figure I have nothing to lose.

So sad. I just lost my best friend to a heart attack this last friday. You can easily lose faith when someone dies, in my case someone only 40 some years old. Thank you for singing so beautifully
