Woah woah woah! I am well and truly blown away! Thank you so much for all your lovely feedback on Confessional, I’m completely taken a back! The love and support has been overwhelming in the best way possible!
There’s no rest for the wicked though! I’m currently packing up 8 years worth of my life here in England for a venture to the motherland! I’m guessing I’ll be there for a minimum of 6 months but I’ve made no plans, we’ll play it by ear! I look forward to the clearer head and subsequently clearer lungs too 😉 also the headspace to get back to writing!
I’m not good with goodbyes so this weekend has already been filled with a lot of feelings so bear with me - has no one heard of an Irish goodbye?! Aha!
Anyways, I’ll keep you all posted and thanks a million for having my back on this release. I believe in us! ♥️♥️

Back in my drinking days a lifetime ago, one of my crew after getting maybe too much of a buzz on used to simply disappear to go home. No goodbye, no see you tomorrow, no I'm going home now, nothing. He would simply disappear when no one was looking. Another member of our little crew (there were three of us that our wives dubbed "the bad boys club") referred to Bill's behavior as an "Irish exit". Is this the same thing as the Irish Goodbye? Would love to know.

All the best and safe travels! Listened to Confessional many many times already and it’s hands down your best work yet, in a big part, because it goes back to your roots. The Irish sound and feel, spurring a need to hear more of that from you. Home is what you need, your heart, your music ... it is you.

Have a safe trip back home Janet and there is no better place to go when you are not feeling the best than home to your family and old close friends . I know the feeling of the call to home iv lived in Perth Western Australia for 13 year and am missing home ( New Zealand ) so much now and looking to pack up 13 years of stuff and move back home to be closer to family and friend and the fresh air and mountains . anyway hope to see you on here when you feel up to it and have settled back home :-)
