I’m making some plans for new photography with Emma-Jane this year and it got me looking back over all our different shoots. And man there have been a few!! Some thought out and with a focus from the start, others created on the fly, and who said never work with animals!? (yes they were adorable bunnies and yes there was poop 🤣)
I’ve been so lucky to have her and as it’s been such a tough year for a lot of creative industries I’m excited to set up more work with her and Lou! And of course your support helps literally make the images you see on this video!

Here are my two favorites: the beginning with the rabbits and towards the end amongst the disheveled building.

I went through all the photos just to see if any grabbed me by the gut. I like candid photos rather than posed ones. I prefer wide shots with the subject looking off-angle from the camera rather than facing it. I also like photos taken in the natural light of dusk or dawn rather than in a setting or a studio. Having said that, the one photo that grabbed me most broke all my rules. It was the last one, and it is a super great shot that looks very much like the original of Versions of Better. I can see why it was chosen for publication. Your photographers are absolutely excellent in the way that they work with the light and the dark. I don't know if they have already done this or not, but I would just love them to take you into the countryside and to go with some of the stuff I wrote above. As for you, Janet, you work with the camera very well. You are a natural, and I would dearly love to see you more freely expressed before the lens.

Damn, this is the third time I’ve written this out, as I had promptly accidentally deleted the prior two rather than press the big ass post button! Anyway, my 2nd favorite is the 2nd. So adorable! My hands down 1st is the last. It epitomizes my vision of you both body and soul. Like an angel touched down upon Earth to save us from our lowly selves. 🐰 🐰 🐰 👼 💗
