Young, Female & Addicted
🕑 Added 2022-02-28 19:43:36 +0000 UTCHello patrons! As you’ve probably seen there’s a little programme being broadcast tonight featuring yours truly 🙊 it was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster to say the least, and even Pat put in an appearance (as did beanie boy!). It took me a long time to feel entirely comfortable with facing this issue head on, but filming the documentary definitely made me think so much more about what I went through - as well as what I put others through. I’ve said it before but it’s my special online friends who really keep me steady and feel supported, thank you for all the messages ahead of this broadcast.
I’m sorry it’s a bit limited about where you can watch, it’s out of my hands I’m afraid 😪
Also it’s now scheduled for 10:55pm as there’s extended news just before.
Here’s some information from the press office on how to watch:
Watch live on BBC One NI at 10:55pm or from the rest of the UK on Freeview/Virgin channel 101 or Sky 801 or catch up on BBC iPlayer after broadcast.
Someone said they changed their location on iplayer to NI… but you didn’t hear that from me!!
Much love xx

I have to find a way to watch this from my side of the pond. I think it's important for people that are in the public eye to let kids know that the "escape routes" we take are often not the escape we look for in the long run, and also that if you make yourself face the problems things can get better. I love you for not being afraid to tell your story, you wear your battle scars well.

Can I say wow. I just finished watching and must say Thank you for making this documentary Janet. I pray this helps at least 1 person dealing with this disease. You bring light to so many subjects that people think are taboo. Keep on being you!

I look forward to watching it “ AFTER MY NIGHT SHIFT TONIGHT”. Take care. “I hope the world is treating you how you want to be treated”.

Congratulations Janet. I am sure “YOU”. Have been told this many times b4. But you are very courageous/unselfish individual. Not afraid to face issues head on. As you mentioned in you “ DIAGNOSIS”. Video “ if you can help just 1 person this would be good”.
