Legacy of Hestia - R36 (Progress Report #3)
🕑 Added 2024-09-03 18:29:51 +0000 UTCThere has been a lot of progress on Legacy of Hestia's 36th release last month, a lot of the todo list has been shortened between fixes, some graphical improvements (ex. Ottar's sprite has been redone) but also new features.
Part of the rebalancing involves also the implementation of monsters' abilities, and that has been done for all the monsters up to the floor 7 for now (Tip: It's a good idea to get rid of the Blue Papilio first).
The rebalancing made the game harder, so unless you train a lot at the beginning and become overpowered, going in the Dungeon with healing potions (and other useful items) is almost essential.
That makes the combat a little more strategic at times, for example if Bell is very close to being defeated, it's better to wait out a turn and let your companions take the aggro.
Of course that strategy means that being able to heal your party outside of battle is even more important now, and campfires are not always available near you, so a new screen has been added when using potions while you have companions in your party:

Now you can also heal your companions with items outside of a battle.
That's all for now! =)

No, never, it's not designed with mobile in mind.

Will this ever become available for mobile play?

Sounds good. Thanks!

Probably yes, none of the mobs' HP (so far) has been altered, only the killer ant has been made a little sturdier.

No, all saves are supported. If you saved near the end of R35, you can simply load it to see the ending scene and export your save to be imported on Legacy of Hestia II when that'll be made. Restarting makes sense only if you want to see some of the new content or want to replay the game in its balanced form with all the planned mechanics.

Can I still cheese combat with bombs? :P

Will any of these changes break R35 saves? Or will it be better to start over with all the routes in the rebalanced environment?
