An update

I do appreciate them as they take weight off my shoulders during this period of transition and ensure I can continue making 2D spaceman videos among other silly stuff. Some people want to know why I only put my messages/text/silly things into patreon-patron-only.That's kind of simple really. I only want to share some things, some thoughts, with people who have taken it upon themselves to share with me.
I have ensured a healthy backlog of footage because I realized I may have to step away for a few days and not record anything. Reason being is that this morning at 6:00AM my Grandfather died.
We knew the time was coming, and I find myself thankful that I spent a lot of time with him when I could. I took care of him for a few years. I visited him in the hospital when he fell ill numerous times. I visited him in the home once a week for an hour at least, for years, during my graduate school education. I took the time. When I moved I found the time to face-time chat with him so he could talk with, as he called it, "Number one grandson".
In short, I'm writing this not to express my grief but to remind you all: Take, or make the time. Because, one day, it won't be there. Take a few minutes today to visit with a loved one. I think you'll understand why I feel this way.
Anyways....

I can attest to your message. My father passed away 2 years ago aged 58 due to cancer. I spent alot of time with him before the short notice of its fatality. I was often skipping college to tend to my father on days. Visiting him in hospital despite his efforts to not have me visit cos he didnt want to be a bother. Hell he was not even keen for anyone to see him on his death bed. Which ofcourse I had to. Some years on I do not feel regret for the time I spent and feel glad I did. I am only regretful he could not see me succeed in life better and yet that is not my fault and cannot change it. However what I can do is show the world how well he raised me and effect others for the positive.
