Hehe exactly! I'm glad you think so as well! Aren't they adorable? Yes! I want readers to know that Xiulan can still get flustered even if she may not look like it. And it's one reason why I like slow burns so much even if this one might be arguably, a bit faster than usual (or is it?). Just like in real life, sometimes there's one thing that your crush does that makes your heart flutter; I'm just happy it worked in this instance!

Omg I love seeing the other side of the crush! It's so sweet and adorable knowing that Xiulan is just as bashful and into Suyin as Suyin is into Xiulan. Xiulan is usually so cool and smooth and collected, and there's an intimidation factor in that, in having a beautiful woman's focus solely on oneself. So I love that we get to see Xiulan absolutely losing her shit silently over Suyin!
