An Update you may wish to hear.

2. Something a bit more personal but also something I have to say and discuss. I have been through this past 2 years under an ungodly amount of stress from my job, my day job. My stress and being overworked was to such a state that I felt often enough that my escape was, get this, more work. I threw myself into content creation, online presence, and all that came with it for better or worse. This, of course, was not healthy. At all. I cut back for a bit but I've recently found myself again throwing in enormous sums of content creation instead of dealing with my issues. Deep issues.
Workaholic I am. And that's likely something deeper-rooted in personal issues that desperately need re-examining. Something I've been putting off instead of dealing with them head-on. There are things I have done in the past year that I am not proud of, and I need to acknowledge those issues to grow as a person, or at least to get better. I have made mistakes, I have consistently suspected and out of paranoia expected the absolute worst in people. Again, something from my past. I cannot elaborate on that. I have consistently not been as good a person as I can be to my friends, my community, or myself. I am going to make serious effort to try to fix this going forward. You may see a drop in the pace of content creation. For that, I apologize, but I have some things I need to work on. I cannot continue to do damage to myself or others or my relationships with other people. I only ask that you be patient and if you're the sort, pray. I have some work to do.
You guys fund this. You guys drive this. You put your money on the line and that's humbling. However, I am asking you to reconsider funding this channel if dropping the amount of content is unthinkable. Or unwelcome. I wish to be as forthright as I can here. I can't keep the pace up. It is taking an unhealthy toll.

Tex, Thanks for opening up to your community. Your honesty and candor are some of your most endearing aspects as a content creator. It's why we all keep tuning in. You care about your audience's experience and it shows in the level of dedication and open communication. You have a strong work ethic that people like myself aspire to imitate. I'd like to be a content creator and look to what you've done as a model to emulate. Alerting your followers that the pace of content release may slow and giving your patrons opportunity to adjust their contributions accordingly is not only highly professional, it goes to show how much you care for the community you have fostered. That said, I am relieved that you are able to recognize that your inclination to overwork is something you must take hold of and address before your personal life suffers. There is no Black Pants Legion without Tex so please take care of yourself. We will still be here waiting for you when you are able to continue, whatever capacity that is. Take care of yourself first and foremost. I know how important the we are to you, and you know how important you are to us. We will be here for you, for anything. The legion takes care of its own. And I am the sort and I know it helps, I'm praying for you man.
You don't need to apologize for not killing yourself for content. Your best work has always been when you're having fun - that's what drew me, and I assume many others, to the channel. If you need to talk, you have a a great community around you, and there are a lot of us that'd be happy to listen. Some of us are even semi-professional. Take care of yourself foremost. The community isn't going anywhere.
Take care of yourself first, don't burn out on this :) We're in this for the long haul.
