Final Draft.
🕑 Added 2020-01-22 18:12:51 +0000 UTCWe have reached Final Draft status of the next Tex Talks Battletech. I've been struggling with a lot at work, and in my personal life. Changing mental healthcare providers has been an enormous pain in my ass but I'm hanging in there.
I intend to keep writing and to take a brief vacation at the end of this month to see family I haven't seen in 3 years now. However, after that, I begin recording and production starts full swing. This is going to be a long one. Period.

That is nothing. I had a provider, first session his first words where,I am not going to be an advocate for you. I never saw him after that. I wonder what happened to him?

I had a mental health provider issue this year as well. Damn insurance was denying claims all over the place at $250/hr.I had to stop for nearly 4 months until my insurance finally shrugged and approved them.... only to keep denying any new claims. It's been maddening. So Tex, best I can say is just keep on keeping on. We are here for you, many of us with similar issues (although I can't say what you got going). So from this crippled fool to you: You got this. We believe in you and are here for you when you need to take time away or not for yourself. We support you.
I'm afraid of piloting spiders. Even if those are resilient little buggers, you can shoot all limbs off and they still fight.
Spiders don’t scare me, I’ll smash ‘em with my Warhammer.

Health and family first, YouTube can wait. Also, enjoy your life. Spider are cool. They leave me alone, I leave them alone.

So no lie I used to love spiders, I'd keep them as pets and let them crawl on me no problem. Then that accursed movie Arachnophobia hit TVs. Now, at this time I was the only one of us three kids with a TV in their room. I had saved and saved money and bought one. I also had a VCR player because again, I was good at saving money. My oldest sister for her 16th birthday, literally took over my room with her friends, sitting on me and forcing me to watching Arachnophobia so she and her friends could see it. After that movie I could never touch spiders again. Queue 4 years and some family counseling later and one night I go to bed fine, and wake up the next day blind. They found a spider bite wound on my arm near my veins and never found the spider behind it. I got my vision back over the next 70 hrs but they never found the spider. And for the remaining 3 years I lived at home until I became an adult and moved out I refused to sleep in my bed due to paralyzing fear of spiders and instead confiscated a futon from the living room as my new bed. Which I kept using for a solid decade as a bed until finally replacing it with a normal mattress, on the enforced recommendation of a girlfriend. And now I'm triggered all over again.

Not really, but I do believe in updating people. The polls are generally for fun. Unless its about what to cover next, which I do every few episodes of TTB

Hey Aussie possums are pretty cute. Used to feed them as a kid until one bit me on the middle finger. Then I became Possum-Girl.
You should take a week off
Sharks are way scarier than spiders....so Hooray!
Spiders are cool. They keep insects in check. Jellyfish can burn in the fires of hel. Take the time you need Tex. Mental health issues are one of the great plagues of our time and need to be taken seriously.
