In the coming days, weeks, and months there's gonna be a lot of crazy in the world. The Media is going to hype up the situation out there, driving nominally sane people to doubt everything, including their safety. I feel full well that youtube being what it is, it will give a platform to many people trying to milk the situation for cold hard latinum. I'm already seeing a hell of a lot of content popping up surrounding this. Either trying to sympathize with people or trying to "educate" them. It shows that even in a health crisis, folks are looking to make a buck.
Instead of doing that shit, I'm going to say this, here, to you guys.
1. Stay safe, use your own best judgement.
2. Hope for the best.
3. Prepare for the worst.
I will not be adding to the fear-mongering, I will not be generating content centering around this as I think it's sick to do so - and abusive of the trust you guys place in me. It shows contempt for you, and this community. Let's do our best, and remember, it's okay to be afraid.
But it's not to be cruel.

I HATE, hate! All this friggin hype over it. My sister works at Pearson Airport, a hub [one of two in Canada] for people coming here, and they ain't stopping anybody. Stay safe indeed.

Work in medical records at a hospital - hardly the highest risk, but hardly the lowest (we have a front desk for walk-ins that we rotate through each week - lots of homeless or other high risk people coming through). Thanks for the confidence in your fans judgment and the sentiment. Even if things go full crazy (my state hasn't seen a ton of cases yet), we have to keep a few people working in the office and not from home for various reasons even if we shut down the front desk. I volunteered for it because well... I'm relatively young, I don't have a family I'd be putting at risk, and my immune system isn't bad. Just gotta keep going - as cold as it is, the virus isn't terrible enough to end society. Disrupt? Sure. Annoy? Absolutely. But will we see loss of basic infrastructure? There's no reason to think so. Just gotta keep going and do what you can.
