Question. Old partial cover rules had a pretty severe penalty to hit, but all impacts were on the punch table. I used to use this to extreme effect using SRMs and LBX auttocannon to "scromble" pilots into retardation with successive hits. The new system (which i believe came out either during or shortly after the move to clicky-tech) instead makes the "to-hit" modifier less steep, but now you roll locations as normal and the locations obscured by terrain are automatic "misses" (presumably from the weapons fire instead "hitting" the terrain feature in question) Which rule do you prefer? (My clan-busting Enforcer with the LB10-X was FAR more successful under the old rules)

QUESTION- Dear Tex, I've recently acquired a Mossberg Patriot chambered in .243 and am looking to expand my collection. I have my heart set at the moment on a Marlin, either the model 1894 or 1895. What are your opinions on either of these firearms and/or is there a lever action you would recommend over the Marlins. As always, thank you.

Hi Tex. You sounded very upbeat in this episode, which is great after all that nonsense. Question - Did you ever play any of the Battletech MU*s (Mud, Mux, Muse etc..) back in the day? If unfamiliar, they allowed you to pilot a battlemech in real-time using the power of ASCII graphics.

@Tex I was one of the ones that decided to support through Patreon because of all that nonsense. I had wanted to do it sooner and I wish I could do more, but we've had some ... challenges lately. But I am more than happy to be an enthusiastic schmo in the background because I like not only the Battletrch videos. But the SS13 videos and the find raising is genuinely inspiring.
