Interesting, I carry a CAT in the leg pocket of my work pants, and a few other first aid supplies in my EDC backpack in the trunk of my taxi. No weapons though, just a folding tool knife with a belt cutter and a glass breaker stud integrated in the grip.

Oh boy, here I go redoubling my subscription amount again! Question: What are your thoughts, if any, on the scifi trope of having different damage types that affect a ship's defenses in different ways? IE, lasers being strong against shields and kinetics against armor, etc. Also, what universe do you think does it best?

I would like this as well. Whenever I'm running a leaf blower or other gas powered equipment I try to listen to these longer videos instead of using plain old ear plugs, but I'm not always working in areas with wifi or cell signal.

Question: Happy new year Tex! I was wondering if there have been any attempts to make Mechs heavier than 100 tons? I feel like larger weapons platforms would do better with a different mode of transportation, like a ship. Also how outlandish would it be for a dropship to be able to double as a submersible? I figured it could be a good way to sneak around. Anyway have a good one and I'll raise one to you and the legion this new years. Godspeed

Er, I've found and seen that if you charge too little for art or books you lose sales. Take it from someone who actually tried this business model: It doesn't actually drive down prices. People see that you you are charging too little and think your stuff is cheap and pass it over for other stuff. If you write a novel and publish it independently, the lowest you want to charge for it is $4.99 (If you are writing short stories you can charge less, but there is no market for individual shorts anyways. Write several and publish an anthology). Don't think $2.99 will get you more sales. Same with art. $25 for a book cover is too little. I know, that's how much I charged when I tried to price myself for starving authors. Doesn't work. If you don't value your stuff high enough nobody else will either. Too low is as bad as too high.

I do have a question about other avenues to binge the Amaris war, primer to the clans, the Machie, and the Marauder during my times of need. Youtube has become tv 2.0 and I hope they are giving you good add cents. 4 commercials in 5 to 8 minutes throughout the lectures is..... irritating. Will there ever be options to download copies for offline listening?
