So I just listened to the first two episodes of the Magus Mundane and holy crap was it funny! Great job GMing Tex, it was a wonderful amount of crazy. Most of my Dark Heresy Games are more...serious, with the group being acolytes of an Inquisitor, but the crazy still happens because... it's Dark Heresy, and with insanity, fear, and corruption, it's just built around the stupid. So good job with the stupid! I look forward to the next few episodes. My increased Patreon money was welllllll spent. Hawkmen! DIIIIIIIVE!

I'm not normally into this type of role-play (or the other kind, for that matter) but so far I am loving this. The barely-controlled chaos of the team bullshitting their way out of trouble... Somebody with no sense of common good trying to explain what the common good is to people who probably can't conceive of such a thing... Ricky basically being a gun-crazy version of Charlie Kelly... *Chef's kiss* If you don't mind, I'd love to hear about how you guys come up with your characters. Do you usually base them on characters from other media or make them up from scratch? The reason I ask is that I've recently started trying my hand at writing fiction, and I've found characters and dialogue the most difficult part to write or conceptualize. I used to attribute that simply to the fact that I'm socially awkward and not quite neurotypical. But seeing what you and the others have done demonstrates that isn't necessarily a barrier to character-work, so maybe getting a glimpse into your approach might help me develop that skill.
